YOUNG faces lit up last month as they got their first look at a purpose built extension to the Little Fishes Pre-School in Brackley.
The extension to the Baptist Church premises in Waynflete Close saw walls knocked through creating a bigger rooms allowing the pre-school to cater for upto 30 children. Toilets were also added to the pre-school with disabled facilities.
Pippa Whitehouse, pre-school manager said: “The enhanced environment enables us to improve the learning outcomes for the children. The children enjoyed watching the work as it progressed and acted out the role of the builders while wearing toy hard hats.”
Pre-school treasurer Roger Lewry said: “The pre-school is a service to the community provided by the Baptist Church. The development was largely funded by a grant from Northants County Council, with the balance coming from the church. The committee and staff of Little Fishes would like to thank all those who helped with the fund raising and construction.”
