CHILDREN at Glory Farm School in Bicester will be treated to a day of Olympic fun by the Green Schools Roadshow next month.
The event, funded by Oxfordshire County Council and the Oxfordshire Waste Partnership, will teach children to cut waste and energy consumption through games and activities.
Wayne Lewis, of the Oxfordshire Waste Partnership, said: “We are really looking forward to these summer roadshows. Oxfordshire residents are already high recyclers and we want to ensure that our next generation are even greener!”
The Oxfordshire Green Schools Roadshow starts its county-wide tour this week, and will visit more than 30 schools across the county.
Glory Farm School will get a visit on June 19. Games will include recycled hoopla and a recycling relay.
