Prosecutors are considering their next steps after police tracked down youths who were caught on camera running across the roof of Brackley Leisure Centre.
In May, the Advertiser reported the disgust of parents using the grounds of the leisure centre after the picture was posted on Facebook.
Brackley’s Sergeant Micki Kennett said they tracked the boys down thanks to the picture being uploaded.
She said both were 16 and one had made a ‘full and frank admission’ that he’d been on the roof and caused damage.
He will be subject to a financial disposal order to be negotiated with the leisure centre.
Sgt Kennett added: “The second youth admitted going on the roof, admitted running about, but not causing damage. However he has been reported for the offence of criminal damage and a summons will made at some point if the Crown Prosecution Service decides.
“Both are juveniles, but both are definitely old enough to know better.”
