On Saturday, December 6, at 3pm, Mike Palmer talks about A Natural History of Christmas at Bucks County Museum, in Aylesbury.

On Friday, December 12, from 6pm to 8pm a Christmas Food Sampler is a culinary treat run by Tastertainment, matching food and wine for Christmas. Tickets £15.

In A Modern History of Christmas at 3pm on Saturday, December 13, discover our festive traditions through artefacts from the museum’s social history collection in a seasonal talk by Will Phillips. Mulled wine and mince pies will be served. Tickets £5.

The Impact of Geology on Wine. Can we taste it? is on Friday, December 19, at 6.30pm. Find out how the rocks underfoot can influence the wine in your glass and see if you can taste the difference, with geologist and wine lover Dr Simon Grant. Tickets £12..
