Project Street Life, in Buckingham, is having an open evening to showcase its Homework Club on Monday, September 16, to encourage more youngsters to register.

The open event takes place from 6pm to 7pm in the Salvation Army Citadel on Moreton Road. It’s a chance for parents and pupils to see what’s on offer at the twice-weekly Homework Club, which is open to all 11 to 16-year-olds.

The club runs from 3.30pm to 5pm on Mondays and Tuesdays. A team of volunteers can offer help with written work, research work, maths and computer-based work, and the club has printing, copying and scanning facilities.

There is no charge and free refreshments are available.
