A young artist from Bicester said ‘fangs’ as she was presented with the star prize in a Hallowe’en colouring competition.

Little Chloe James, 4, was chosen as the overall winner in a competition hosted by Sainsbury’s contractors Bowmer and Kirkland.

The event was held in the Information Hub in Crown Walk over half-term.

Judges were impressed by her colouring-in of a friendly-looking vampire.

Paul Tyler, Sainsbury’s project manager said: “There were some really imaginative designs created. The construction team really liked Chloe’s vampire outfit.”

Chloe’s mum Vanessa James said: “Chloe was really excited to win and had great fun designing her multi-coloured vampire’s cloak.”

Chloe was presented with a goodie bag of sweet treats, and every child who entered the competition won a small prize.
