Four held after 'crack cocaine' find

Police called to break up fight find 'drugs stash'

Three men and a woman were arrested in Bicester on Sunday after police who were called to break up a fight found a large stash of what appeared to be crack cocaine.

The three men, aged 23, 33 and 45, and the woman, aged 18, were arrested shortly after 1pm in Hamilton Close following reports of a disturbance.

All four were arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply. More than 1,000 in cash was also found.

The four have been bailed to appear at Banbury Police Station on September 27.

The 45-year-old man, Terence O'Neill, of Hamilton Close in Bicester, was also charged with two counts of possessing a bladed article and using threatening behaviour. He was remanded in custody to appear before Banbury Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.

Det Sgt Craig Kirby said: "These arrests came as a direct result of the community contacting us and providing vital information needed to tackle these types of offences."
