It’s National Walking Month during May, and there are now free guided walks open to all in Buckingham and Winslow.
Simply Walks are volunteer-led walks that run throughout the year all over the country.
The volunteer leaders are there to help people walk at their own pace and nobody is left behind.
All new walkers are welcome and there’s no need to book. Just arrive 15 minutes early for your first walk to register with the walk leader.
In Buckingham, there are two walks for differing abilities at 11am on Friday mornings. Meet at Cornwall’s Meadow car park outside Waitrose.
And in Winslow, the Winslow Big Society Group recently launched gentle walks for people who find walking difficult, including those with buggies.
The walks are at 10am on first and third Wednesdays. Meet at the St Laurence Room, on the Market Square.
