Free rail travel for marathon participants

BICESTER: Runners taking part in this year’s London Marathon can get help reaching the finish line.

Chiltern Railways is offering free travel to marathon runners on all its services on Sunday, April 22. Runners need simply to present their official marathon tabard or race number to ticket inspectors.

Early trains to Marylebone have also been laid on. Entrants can use a service leaving Aylesbury at 6.56am, while spectators can use an extra train from Princes Risborough leaving at 9.05am.
