The largest social housing provider in south Northants has paid tribute to the ‘invaluable contribution’ made by one of its members after he died earlier this month.
Paul Farrow was South Northants Council’s vice chairman and was set to be made chairman last week, but died suddenly on Wednesday, May 9.
As a leading member of SNC he was also a South Northants Homes board member.
Paul Calland, SNH managing director, said: “All the staff are shocked to hear about Paul’s death. He has made an invaluable contribution to the running of our organisation which exists to serve its local residents. This was at the heart of everything he did.
“Our condolences go out to his family. Our 3,500 customers and all of us owe him a large debt and he will be sorely missed.”
SNC’s Sally Townsend lead the tribute last week when she said: “I have known Paul for quite a number of years and I helped him a lot in his campaigning to become a councillor for Grange Park.
“He has been a very good councillor and always attended group and council meetings. He was a sterling councillor for Grange Park and would have been a wonderful chairman.”
