A WOODLAND walk, streams and lakes and wallled gardens will be among the must see attractions when six stunning gardens open up to the public at the end of the month.
The gardens, all located in Charlton, will open on Sunday, May 29. Maintained to a very high standard, the National Gardens Scheme project will allow vistors to enjoy a great day out walking down Main Street and its extension into Farthinghoe Road, where most of the gardens are to be found.
Two of the gardens are new to the group and there will be a plant sale at Walnut House. The gardens will be open from 2-6pm and admission is £5 for the group.
Four large gardens will also be opening in glorious Turweston. The Mill has bridges over the river and a spectacular waterfall, while Versions Farm is a three-acre plantsman’s garden. Admission is £4 for the group.
On May 29 and 30, Tile House Farm in Finmere will open its doors.
