AS the nation gets into the giving spirit a travel agent in Brackley is asking customers to spare a thought for our furry friends.
This week staff at The Cooperative Travel, 5 High Street, launched its annual Santa’s Suitcase appeal to give unwanted pets a Christmas to remember.
They are looking for donations of food, blankets and toys which they will pass on to the Northants Animals Needing Nurturing and Adoption (NANNA).
Branch manager Ruth Harrison said: “We are inviting customers and friends to join us in our festive activities this year and help make 2011 a Christmas to remember for NANNA.
“We know how supportive our customers have been in the past, and are sure they will overwhelm us with their generosity yet again.”
This is the eighth year the travel agent have run the appeal and the second year collecting donations for NANNA.
