The Glyndebourne Tour brings three diverse operas with stunning costumes and breathtaking music from the next generation of opera stars.

Milton Keynes Theatre is one of only five venues across the country that annually hosts the tour. In the 16 years that the company has been visiting the theatre, nearly 50,000 people have watched and enjoyed world class opera, productions that normally audiences would have to travel to East Sussex to see.

This year, two of the three productions that make up the programme from Tuesday November 10 through to Saturday 14 are premieres that have transferred straight from the 2015 Glyndebourne Festival.

Don Pasquale is a vivacious comedy about an older man flattered into seeking a younger wife in the hope of taking revenge against his nephew. This is on at 7.15pm on Tuesday November 10 and at 2pm on Thursday November 12.

Die Entfuhrung Aus Dem Serail is a stirring tale of abduction, escape and forgiveness, transferring directly from the festival. This is at 7.15pm on Wednesday November 11 and Saturday November 14.

Handel’s Saul is a compelling psychological drama with a musical score of heart-breaking beauty and intensity, also transfering directly from the festival. This is on at 7.15pm on Friday November 13. Tickets from £20. Box office 0844 871 7652.
