BICESTER residents can find out how to get involved in eco-friendly community events at a special royal jubilee celebration on Saturday, June 2.
Grassroots Bicester, a volunteer-run group dedicated to making Bicester more environmentally-friendly, runs quarterly ‘freecycle’ events in the Methodist Church in Sheep Street, an annual Eco Bicester Day, and a number of energy efficiency workshops.
The group has several new events coming up this year, and visitors can find out how they can get involved in a drop-in session in the Eco Demonstration House in Garth Park. The event runs from noon to 3pm, and members of the Grassroots team will be on hand to answer any questions. Details are available at www.facebook.com/events/350442491677029.
