A fundraising Halloween evening will be held at Winslow’s Bell Hotel on Thursday, October 31, in aid of the charity Alec’s Angels.

Hosted by fancy dress shop Divine Diva, The Halloween Evening of Spooks and Fun, from 6pm to 8pm, features a fancy dress competition and games including Trick or Treat Tombola, Guess the Name of the Werewolf and Skull Shy. Alec’s Angels supports children with cancer and their families.

It was set up in memory of nine-year-old Hillesden boy Alec Jarvis, who died of a brain tumour in 2011.

Alec’s dad Brian Jarvis said: “This is something Alec himself had really fancied doing. This event will provide a safe environment where the children can have fun and where adults can go as well.”

Entrance is free.
