The Puzzle Centre, in Middle Claydon, has a few places left in its fundraising First Words Lunch Club this year.

The lunch club supports the work of the pre-school for very young children by meeting three times a year at theOld Thatched Inn, Adstock, for a lunch and a talk by a range of interesting speakers.

The club has raised well over £4,000 to help the work of Puzzle over the last two years.

Puzzle principal Alex Stanyer said: “It costs about £27,000 for one child to attend Puzzle for one year. We need to fundraise to continue to provide this life-changing service.”
