A church toddler group is having a spring fair tomorrow, Saturday.

The Ark Toddler Group Spring Fair runs from 10.30am to 12.30pm in Buckingham Parish Church, where the group holds its weekly meetings.

There will be plenty of stalls and refreshments, as well as a bottle tombola and a lucky dip.

The aim of the fair is to raise funds for the church roof appeal, to ensure the building remains dry and warm for all its users.

A multitude of different activities take place in the church throughout the week, and it also hosts concerts and special events.

The Ark Toddler Group, from 10am to noon on Thursdays is one of two regular groups for babies and toddlers which meet at the church.

On Wednesday afternoons, Toddler Church is an opportunity for babies and toddlers to come along with their parents orcarers to play, sing and hear a Bible story together. Drinks and biscuits are served for the little ones, with tea or coffee for the grown-ups.

A young mum who regularly attends the Ark with her children said: “We all really look forward to our Thursday mornings at the Ark.

“My eldest likes the crafts – most of which she has proudly hung up at home – and my youngest enjoys racing around with the toys and the songs and bubbles.”
