Market-goers were surprised to spot a shark last Sunday.

Swanbourne resident Donna Rooney and Jaws the shark were at Winslow Farmers’ Market to tell people about the Beer and Film Festival at Swanbourne’s Betsey Wynne pub on August 23 and 24.

The 1975 classic Jaws will be shown outdoors on a 15m inflatable screen at dusk on the Sunday.

The event, which takes place in the field behind the pub, is being organised my interim landlord Sam Cornwall-Jones.

As well as the pub serving food all day, there will be a marquee selling at least 20 real ales and 20 scrumpy ciders, a hog roast, gourmet Dexter burgers from The Flying Cows, OMG Hot Dogs, a stage with live music, face painters, bouncy castles and stalls from local charities.

See the pub’s Facebook page or @thebetseywynne on Twitter.
