A personal stylist is about to grace the walls of the nation in a fundraising calendar to promote body confidence and breast awareness.

Hillesden mum Jo Moir, aged 48, is one of a group of image consultants who have crowdfunded, produced and starred in the 2015 Body Confidence Calendar in aid of Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

Featuring classy images of the women tastefully draped in their most flattering colours, each page contains confidence-boosting quotes and helpful style tips.

The aim is to raise £50,000 for Breakthrough Breast Cancer by selling 5,000 calendars for £10 each.

To cover the print costs, the women raised £7,000 in a month through the Crowdfunder website, so every penny of the sale price will go to charity.

As Jo, who is Miss February in the calendar, is a member of Bicester Toastmasters, she was asked to give the speech at the launch party last Friday.

The calendar has been endorsed by TV presenter Lorraine Kelly, who said: “I’m delighted to support this project in aid of Breakthrough Breast Cancer and promoting a positive body image.

“I hope you love the calendar as much as I do and that you too will be inspired to be breast aware.”

Copies of the calendar, which costs £10, can be purchased locally from Jo on 01296 730930 or via www.2015calendar.co.uk
