Bicester Millennium Cycling Club is offering traffic-free time trials at Weston-on-the-Green Airfield.
From this week, the club is offering practice for those who want to try their hand at time trials or would like to get back in the saddle on a road bike.
The club says the airfield is the ideal place to try out time trials, with a hard-surface route forming a 2.5-mile loop.
Zero traffic makes the events much safer, says the club, and the short route means riders are never far from help.
Time trials are held weekly, with riders meeting at 6.45pm in the airfield car park for a 7pm start.
Distances can range from 10 miles to two-and-a-half miles.
