A group of 10 Buckingham youngsters put on a three-course lunch for 27 senior citizens in Well Street Church last Saturday.

The group, led by 14-year-old Oli George, cooked tomato soup, roast pork and banoffee pies.

Oli is the founder of Beat The Stereotype, a group of young people who want to break down the barriers between agegroups created by stereotypes.

With the help of Well Street youth worker Cameron Ewart, Oli bid for £300 in funding from O2’s Think Big scheme to get the project off the ground.
