Find out how to keep your kids safe online at a special E-Safety Evening.

The Buckingham School and the Royal Latin School are joining forces to put on the event for parents and students at the Buckingham School from 7pm to 9pm on Wednesday, November 26.

The evening will cover protecting your online reputation, preventing and dealing with cyberbullying, staying safe with social networking and online chatrooms, setting parental controls, preventing online grooming, the dangers of sexting and dealing with inappropriate content.

Expert advice will be on offer from guest speakers Jo Cowdrey from McAfee and neighbourhood PC Graham Brigginshaw.

Headteacher of the Royal Latin School, David Hudson, said: “This is an excellent opportunity for parents and families to take on the most up-to-date advice about the safe use of the internet and mobile phones. As the pace of technological change increases so rapidly, it is crucial that schools work in partnership with parents to ensure that children are kept as safe as possible.”
