People in Brackley have the chance to learn how to save a life during a free course in emergency life support.
Brackley Heartstart is a scheme associated with the British Heart Foundation and teaches members of the public the set of actions needed to help keep someone alive until professional help arrives.
Co-ordinator Adam Jeskins, of St Peter’s Park said: “It’s vital we all know what to do to help keep someone alive in an emergency. A bystander, often a relative or friend with no medical expertise is likely to be the first person on the scene. Learning the simple skills that saves lives through Heartstart can make all the difference.”
The course is two hours and is open to anyone over the age of 10. Call Mr Jeskins on 07711 971709 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
