There’s a chance to find out more about the government’s proposed HS2 compensation scheme, at a series of 22 information events along the route.
The Department for Transport’s (DfT) recently announced property compensation and safeguarding proposals are currently out for consultation.
The information events are a chance for people directly affected by the new high-speed line to discuss specific property-related issues with representatives of HS2 Ltd and the DfT.
People attending can also look at route maps, factsheets and the consultation documents.
The first event was held in London this week.
Two events are planned for this area – on Friday, January 11, at Calvert Green Community Centre; and on Wednesday, January 16, at Brackley Leisure Centre. Both events take place from noon to 8pm.
