Life savers get £3,000 cheque

DONATION: Young members of the St John Ambulance in Towcester received a late Christmas present after the donation of £3,000 last week.

The cheque was presented to them by the organisers of the Whittlebury Park Shopping Extravaganza.

Leppy Richmond-Watson, president of Towcester St John said the money will pay for trip to London to show the children the St John Ambulance museum and will replace resuscitation dolls used to teach live saving CPR.
