BICESTER students gearing up to make their GCSE choices met representatives from 40 businesses at this year’s Going 4 It careers fair.

The annual event, sponsored by Bicester Village, was held at The Cooper School on Friday last week. England cricket hero Darren Gough was this year’s star guest.

Miranda Markham, of Bicester Village, said: “By interacting with over 400 students businesses are able to ‘open the student’s eyes to a world they are not yet familiar with, stimulating their interest and motivating them to think about their future in a positive way.”

Many students were able to get Mr Gough’s autograph following his talk.
