A Gleeful start for new singing group
Buckingham Glee Club
Buckingham’s new Glee Club got off to a harmonious start last week, when 53 people turned out to try the first session free of charge.
Participants sang Ain’t No Mountain in four-part harmony, then learned some very simple dance moves. After a break for cake and a chat, the group sang You’ve Got A Friend by James Taylor.
“For a first evening, it sounded incredible,” said group leader Kate Ballard.
“Everyone left smiling and buzzing.”
New members are welcome to join the group, which meets at 7.30pm on Tuesdays at Buckingham Primary School.
