A new lease of life for historic village building

People in Maids Moreton had the chance to see round the care home in the newly reopened Maids Moreton Hall at a special open evening at the end of October.

The management team said they were overwhelmed by the interest shown in the open evening, with more than 350 visitors attending during the two-hour event.

Staff, including manager Linda Barrington-Cook, took guests on tours of the luxury home and visitors enjoyed champagne and canapes in the lounge area to the strains of a classical harpist.

The original, historic Maids Moreton Hall building has been lovingly restored, and now houses the communal areas, including lounges, dining rooms, hair and beauty salon, library and cinema.

A purpose-built two-storey extension now houses the bedrooms, and the two areas are linked by a glazed walkway.

Landscaping is now complete and the home is fully operational.

It offers a full range of nursing, residential and dementia care, with prices ranging from £900 to £1,200 a week.

So far, five residents have moved in.

Potential residents and families can call Maids Moreton Hall on 01280 818710 to arrange a personal tour.
