Appeal after fatal accident on estate

POLICE have appealed for any witnesses to come forward after a man was killed in Shakespeare Drive on Wednesday afternoon.
A pedestrian was involved in a collision with a blue and white DAF lorry at around 2.15pm.
The pedestrian, a 30-year-old man from Bicester, died at the scene.
Police closed a section of Shakespeare Drive between the Middleton Stoney road and Villiers Road for just over two hours while investigators tried to determine what had happened.
The dead man’s identity had not been released at the time of going to press yesterday, Thursday.
Police confirmed he was from Bicester, but said his family would not be releasing a tribute or photograph at this time.
