Bid to create new Free School

WINSLOW: A group of parents seeking to create a new secondary school in the Winslow area under the government’s Free Schools programme is holding a public meeting at 7pm on Tuesday, February 7, at the town’s St Laurence Rooms.

The group says: “The ethos behind our school will be one of opportunity, with a significant focus on sport, music, drama and the arts alongside a wide range of extra curricular activities.”
