Big Society Group meeting

WINSLOW: Winslow’s Big Society Group is meeting on Wednesday, October 17, in the St Laurence Room, and everyone is welcome to attend.

There will be an update and discussion on the group’s progress, and a talk by Margo Parfitt, from the Buckingham and Winslow Young Carers.

Entry is free and refreshments will be served.

The Big Society Group grew out of a public meeting in January, organised by members of the town’s churches. The idea was to look what local people could do to help others in the community, in the light of public spending cuts.
