Book now for Nordic walking
People in Bicester can learn Nordic walking at classes offered by GO Active at Cherwell District Council.
Nordic walking can burn up to 46 per cent more calories than normal walking. It is ideal to build fitness or help with weight loss.
Cherwell District Council has run Nordic walking courses and social Nordic walks for nearly four years now.
However, these courses may be the last, due to uncertain future funding.
Courses cost £20, which covers two two-hour sessions on Saturdays, February 23 and March 2. Poles are provided.
Once you have completed the course, you can join free, volunteer-led social walks all around the district.
