A TAKE THAT tribute, a performance by BAFTA nominated Richard Digance, and the Festival in the Park, are just a few of the highlights of the Brackley Music Festival 2012 which starts on Friday, June 29.
This year 20 acts will perform over the 16 day festival at venues across the town. And for the first time tickets can be bought online, as well as from Bliss Fashion and Brackley Town Hall.
Blake Stimpson, chairman of the organising committee said: “It’s going to be great, we’ve got some fabulous acts. Craig Ogden is the best guitarist I have ever seen.
“And of course there’s Festival in the Park. If it’s anything like last year it will be wonderful. It was lovely to see one of the green spaces of Brackley being used in such a vibrant way.
“Then we have Richard Digance on the first Sunday in the Town Hall. So there’s something for everyone, from classical, jazz, folk and the Take That tribute Back For Good.”

The festival starts on Friday, June 29, with a performance by the Brackley and District Band at St Johns Chapel at 7.30pm, tickets are £5.
Then from midday on Saturday, June 30, a combination of local talent and cover bands, including Harry Payne, My Holiday Romance will perform in Brackley Park, with ska band Hope and Glory polishing off the night. Entrance is by donation
The rest of the festival includes; Richard Digance at the town hall on Sunday at 3pm and the Colvin Quarmby Duo at the Brackley Folk Club at 8pm, guitarist Craig Ogden at the Baptist church on Tuesday, July 3, from 8pm, and many more.
