editorial image

A woman was trapped in a car after it left the road and hit a bridge parapet near Stratton Audley last night.

Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service was called to the unclassified road between Tingewick and Stratton Audley at just after 7pm.

Two crews from Bicester Fire Station and a rescue vehicle from Kidlington were sent to the scene.

Two of the car’s occupants had already freed themselves by the time firefighters arrived, but a woman had to be cut free from the damaged vehicle.
