Cyclist dies after accident in Bicester
A cyclist has died after a collision with a car in Bicester last night.
Thames Valley Police has appealed for witnesses after the incident, which happened shortly before 6pm on the A4421 Neunkirchen Way, near Langford Village.
Police were called by the ambulance service after the collision between the cyclist, a 48-year-old man, and a silver Ford Escort.
Sgt Julie Daglish, investigating the incident, said: “This collision happened on a busy road and I am keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision, or saw the car or cyclist beforehand.”
The man was taken to the JRII Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police spoke to the car driver, a man, at the scene.
