Dalek invasion at auctioneers
auction: An original Dalek is among items up for sale at Dickins Auctioneers’ Antiques and Collectables auction on October 5 and 6 in Middle Claydon.
Lot 800 in the two-day auction is “A 1966 Dr Who Dalek from the film Daleks Invasion Earth: 2150 AD, starring Peter Cushing.”
The Dalek, which has been put up for sale by a local vendor, was a Kellogg’s Cornflakes competition prize. It stands 61¾in high and is estimated to fetch £250 to £350.
