Encouraging entries for Swimathon
Olympic swimmer Craig Gibbons is encouraging people to take part in the second Buckingham Swimathon on Saturday, March 9, at the Swan Pool.
The Swimathon raises money for local good causes supported by the Rotary Club.
The event runs from 11am to 6pm. Teams of all ages try and swim as many laps of the pool as possible in a 55-minute time slot.
Companies, schools, clubs and individuals are encouraged to enter teams of up to six members and raise as much sponsorship as possible.
Entry costs £5 per person and you must be able to swim at least one length of the pool (25m). Under-16s will need parental authorisation.
Registration forms can be downloaded via www.buckinghamswim.com and are also available via the Swan Pool reception.
