Event to show how to make the most of Olympic legacy

Sports clubs in south Northants will be shown how to take make the most out of the Olympic legacy during a roadshow in Bugbrooke next week.

The free Club Development Roadshow will provide workshops on marketing, obtaining funding, building on business skills and improving links with local schools.

The Club Leaders Learning Bus, which is part of Sport England’s Olympic Legacy programme ‘Places People Play’, will also be on hand, with people on board the bus providing business skills training for the roadshow attendees.

The roadshow has been organised by South Northants Council in partnership with Northamptonshire Sport and Daventry’s ‘Everyone Active’ and takes place at Bugbrooke Sports and Community Hall from 6pm to 9pm on Tuesday, September 18.
