Two women who run businesses in Turweston are joining forces to hold a fashion and wellness event in aid of Cancer Research.

Jane Jackson, who runs Ideal Weight, and Charlotte Boardman, of Starlight Studios are hosting Experience on February 27, between 10am and 4pm at Glebe Farm Park.

The event will also provide a venue for local businesses to promote their products and services.

Mrs Jackson said: “Any money we raise during the course of the day will go to Cancer Research. We are also asking everyone to provide raffle prizes. This is something that is close to mine and Charlotte’s heart – Charlotte has not long lost her father-in-law to cancer and my mother is undergoing chemotherapy.”

From noon to 1pm, there will be a free ‘hour of power’ fitness class with Tracy Arthur, before a free yoga session with Barb Nievens between 1pm and 2.30pm.

From 7.30pm there will also be a fashion show with Jackie Allen. Tickets for the show are £5, which includes a raffle ticket and free glass of wine, and are on sale in Clayson’s Cafe, Wine Bar and Bistro in Market House Courtyard, Brackley. To book a place in the fitness class, the ‘hour of power’ or to see the fashion show, email jane.jackson@idealweight.co.uk.

Mrs Jackson added: “We will be giving out goody bags with offers, samples and promotions from our exhibitors so come along and have a lovely girls evening.”
