BUCKINGHAM: Flood Action for Buckingham (FA4B) is holding a public information event at midday on Saturday, September 29, at St Peter and St Paul’s Church.

The church will become the Flood Rescue Centre in the event of future flooding.

Bucks Fire and Rescue will be there with flood equipment, rescue devices and a boat, and you can also heaer from the National Flood Forum.

Find out about the Community Flood Plan, what steps you can take to prepare yourself and how you can sign up to help others in the event of a flood.

A display from the Advertiser archives will take you back to the floods of 2007, 1998, 1979 and 1947.
