Find out about free services available for older people locally at an information fair at Steeple Claydon Village Hall from 2pm to 3pm on Thursday, September 20.

There will be stands from organisations including North End Surgery, NHS Bucks, the Home Library Service, Tax Help For Older People, social services and the Samaritans.

The Alzheimer’s Society supports people with dementia or their carers.

Carers Bucks supports unpaid family carers.

Buckingham and Winslow Citizens Advice has a home visiting service. The United Sustainable Energy Agency can give information on staying warm, loft insulation and heating grants.

AVDC home service offers free installation of locks and chains. Bucks Fire & Rescue Service offers free fire safety checks and smoke alarms

Healthy Minds is an NHS service for people with anxiety, stress and depression and Extra Help is a new private home care service.
