Firefighters rescue four stuck in flood

THORNBOROUGH: Firefighters rescued four people whose car was stuck in floodwater on Monday night.

The car containing four adults became stranded in a flood at Leckhampstead Wharf, Thornborough, at about 8.40pm.

Two fire crews from Buckingham and one from Great Holm attended.

Firefighters wearing flooding gear pushed the car to safety.

Bucks Fire & Rescue has warned people not to attempt to drive through water that is more than a few inches deep.
