FOOD: Health protection officers are hoping district residents will rememeber this year’s St Valentine’s Day meal for all the right reasons.

Since introducing the Food Standards Agency rating system in 2011, 394 out of the 733 south Northants eateries have scored five out of five for hygiene.

South Northants Council’s Dermot Bambridge said it may not be romantic but urged diners to check ratings.
