Four car collision near icy bend on road between Brackley and Buckingham

Finmere turning on the A422 near Westbury, Vauxhall Passat is the last car to be removed after four car collision.

Motorists had a lucky escape on the road between Brackley and Buckingham today after four cars crashed near Westbury.

Just before 8am this morning, Monday, March 18, four cars collided on the A422 just after the turning to Finemere.

The crash was a low speed accident and no injuries were reported, however a Vauxhall Passat had to be removed from a ditch.

The accident also included a Vauxhall Corsa, Peugeot 107 and Skoda Fabia.

The accident came after last Friday’s Advertiser story on frustration over a water leak at the Finmere turn that was freezing in cold weather and creating an isolated ice patch.
