Four teenage lads hurt in Banbury Lane smash
A 17-year-old from Gayton near Towcester was in a group of four teenagers hurt in a car crash near Kislingbury .
At around 1.45pm on Saturday, September 22, the teenager was a passenger in a Volkswagen Lupo heading from Gayton to Kislingbury when it collided with Volkswagen Touran heading towards Pattishall, while crossing the junction with Banbury Lane
The driver of the Lupo - a 17-year-old boy from Harpole - was airlifted to John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford with serious injuries. Three passengers - all 17-year-old boys from Harpole, Gayton and Weedon - were taken to Northampton General Hospital for treatment.
The driver and passengers in the Touran were treated at the scene by ambulance crews but did not need hospital treatment.
