Canvas art shop, on Buckingham’s Market Square, is auctioning a painting to raise money for Comic Relief.

The large acrylic dragon picture, which is on display in the shop window, was done by local artist and Canvas employee Emily Brady, who is well known for her fantasy-inspired and comic book artwork.

Tryphena Foster of Canvas said: “Emily was asked to do this painting for a window promotion and it received lots of great comments both from passers by and from our Facebook page, so we thought it would be a great idea to auction it off and raise money for Comic Relief at the same time.”

Canvas is holding its silent auction in store until Friday, March 15.

Bids are also being accepted via Facebook.

On March 15, the highest bidder will win the painting, and they can also have it framed free of charge if they wish.
