Grand Prix hosts urged to have fire drills

FIRE SAFETY: The first signs of the approaching Silverstone Grand Prix season emerged this week as fire chiefs issued reminders over fire safety.

Baz Fox, Northants Fire and Rescue service’s community protection manager said: “We’re taking this opportunity to remind individuals who are renting rooms or whole buildings during theses events they have the legal duty and responsibility to ensure their premises are safe in case of fire.”
