Peppa Pig helped break the ground on a project which will see Padbury Preschool back in its rightful home.

Up to last September the preschool served the community from a room at Padbury Primary School. But as the primary school expanded the preschool had to find a new home.

The original plan was to move straight into a replacement building on the same site. But delays in the project led the preschool to move into Adstock Village Hall.

But with construction on the prefabricated pine lodge well under way the time came to clear the land so that it can be up and running by the end of March.

Parents, staff and villagers helped raise over £100,000 for the project.
