Police will be keeping up a presence in Buckingham Town Centre for on Friday and Saturday nights for the foreseeable future, as part of their crackdown on anti-social behaviour.
And officers have been issued with body-worn video cameras which allow them to record incidents as they happen and capture evidence on film, making the chances of a successful prosecution more likely.
Police also worked with Buckingham Town Council to secure CCTV footage from its cameras in the town centre.
Insp Davies said: “There will be a presence in the town on Friday and Saturday nights for the foreseeable future.”
Two men a woman are currently facing charges following an incident in Market Hill, Buckingham, on Friday, August 2. Some of the alleged incident was captured by police on body-worn video.
Tina Carr, 29, and Terence Stanger, 47, both of Ryeland, have been charged with violent disorder, while Darren Martin, 44, of Whitehead Way, has been charged with violent disorder and assault by beating.
Mr Stanger and Mr Martin will be appearing in court on September 27.
