Holiday fun for young explorers at Stowe
Stowe Landscape Gardens has developed a new children’s Explorer’s Map just in time for the summer holidays.
As well as helping youngsters find the 40 different monuments and temples, it encourages children to discover bugs and interact with the natural world.
The map can be downloaded from the website at www.nationaltrust.org.uk/stowe or you can pick up a free copy from reception.
Two themed weeks are being held during the summer holidays.
Orienteering Week is from July 23 to 29, with three different levels of trails to try, and Geology Week runs from August 11 to 17.
There will be children’s events every Tuesday in August aimed at getting children outdoors and learning about nature at Stowe.
The events are free but must be pre-booked due to limited spaces.
